Meet Your Summer Interns: Lance Henderson

May 15th, 2009
Posted by: Chris
1. Born in Arlington, TX, I moved to and lived in Spearman, TX before coming to Athens. I now live in Los Angeles, CA
2. Jury’s still out on favorite movie. I’ll go A Few Good Men right now. Let’s see, Monday: 24, Tuesday: Fringe and NBA Gametime with Amhad Rashad, GP, and C-Webb. Wednesday: LOST Thursday: The Office and 30 Rock are a great Duo. Friday: Friday Night Lights. Syndicated: Arrested Development, Friends, The OC, and Seinfeld. The Tipping PointInto Thin AirFranny and Zooey (Lesser known JD Salinger book). Currently reading and loving Moneyball.
3. I see this summer as a chance to get to meet a whole new generation of people, and hopefully teach as well as learn something along the way.
4. It doesn’t get better than a good sirloin steak. Snickers, just because I love the “Get dunked on by Patrick Chewing.” My candy selection really has to do mostly with which ad has made me laugh recently.
5. Fireworks. I don’t even know what to say to the guy who puts “parade”
6. The Late San Antonio Spurs (bit of a rough patch right now), LA Dodgers (HUGE rough patch right now). USC football (just itching for a recruiting violation and subsequent NCAA death sentence. But hey, fun while it lasts), Texas Rangers, LA Kings, Portland Trailblazers
Recently supported: Chicago Bulls, The Washington Ovechkins, not really the Celtics, just USC Legend Brian Scalabrine (dueling Matt Bonner for obscure red-head mostly likely to hit four threes, score 25 points, and still no one care).
Love/Hate: LA Lakers
7. Since I had to Google Lycra I’m gonna have to go Spandex
8. Past: Jeff Buckley Current: U2
9. Electrical Engineering, class of 2010
10. My second year at Camp Buckner was amazing. Paul Shafer and his friends led worship, camp was pretty much a resort, and it happened at a really important time in my life when I was beginning to really take my faith seriously.
11. Beets. Sorry Dwight
12. Yes I’ve been to Ikea. Love everything except the little warning drawings on the instructions. You know what I’m talking about if you’ve seen them; creepy little Swedes.
13. Apple, under the condition that it runs Windows
14. Beach. Can’t beat sand, seafood, and Frisbee.
15. Probably a trip my family took to England where we lived in Oxford while my dad took a class there. Trip to the Inauguration this year is up there though.
