What an incredible day! A new camp means all kinds of new challenges and experiences but our students and adults handled all of the challenges like champs! Family group bible study seemed to go extremely well and our students (along with those from FBC Arlington and FBC Saginaw) were totally engaged in worship. By church group time tonight, everyone was completely exhausted. We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow!

Leaving for Camp!
As I write this we are on the bus on our way to camp. All 60 students
are checked in and ready for a fantastic week at Riverbend Retreat
Center. During the week, can you stop and pray for our group throughout the
day? Worship happens in the morning and at night, rec is right after
lunch, and family group bible study is right after dinner. Basically,
there are a number of times for students to connect with God and meet
new friends. Camp was one of the most important parts of my life as a teenager and
I am praying for the same type of experience for your student.

Youth Camp Kick-Off!
Calling all Parents and Students!
Next Wednesday is an important night for Youth Camp. Starting at 7pm at the ROC, we have two different camp related happenings: a kick-off for students and a crucial parent meeting.
The Camp Kick-Off will take the place of MIDWEEK next Wednesday and will be a great time for students to get prepared for the awesomeness of Youth Camp! The summer interns will lead the party so it will also be a great chance for students to meet and spend time with our new additions to the Authentic Youth Family.
For parents, we will be going over final camp details, collecting release forms, and also collecting camp payments. You will get a packing list and a schedule of what time to arrive at the ROC on Monday as well as our return time for Friday. We also will collect the two release forms that should have been mailed to you (If you did not receive them, we will have extra copies at the meeting) This meeting will also be a perfect opportunity for you to ask any last-minute questions you might have.
I am so excited about our all-new camp adventure this year – I believe that God will do some incredible things in the hearts of our students as we worship Him.

Resurrection Sunday!
This Sunday we are preparing for a special day of celebrating Easter together. Last year, our sanctuary was completely full and so we have made a few changes this year in order to accomodate as many guests as possible. We have added an additional service at 9:30am and planned for extra parking. We have also moved Sunday Morning small groups for children, students, and families from 9:30am to 11am.
Here's what that means for students and their parents – We are asking that you attend either the 8:00am (traditional) or 9:30am (contemporary) service this Sunday and then come to the ROC for small groups at 11:00am.
We appreciate your flexibility and would love to answer any questions that you might have. Email us or call us. We can't wait to celebrate the resurrection with you this Sunday!
